About Blue Green Yonder

Blue Green Yonder was founded by local man Trevor Foster in 2018. His love and passion for the water and the history of the local areas as well as providing access for all to the water, lead to the creation of Blue Green Yonder. Over the years Blue Green Yonder has grown from strength to strength, from starting with four kayaks in 2018 to securing a lease for a 4 acre Castle Island in 2021, we continue to grow and develop our offering.

Two Sites, One Centre, Endless Adventure

Enniskillen Adventure Centre

Enniskillen is at the heart of our operations and close to the hearts of our local team. We operate from two sites in Enniskillen. The Blueways Water Activity Zone and the iconically magnificent 4 acre Castle Island.

Location 1
Castle Island Lakeland Canoe Centre, Castle Island, Enniskillen, BT74 7EF

Castle Island is the stunningly beautiful and historically astounding jewel in the crown of Blue Green Yonder. As our primary base Castle Island is the jumping off point for many of our programmes, camps and activities. This beautiful centre and coffee shop is a must visit destination for anyone passing through Enniskillen.

Castle Island, known locally as Irvine’s Island as it was home to the Irvine family. The original cottage can be seen at the point of the island opposite the Castle. The land was formerly farmed and was one of many places where traditional cots were built.

In 1991 the Lakeland Canoe Centre opened, creating a hub of activity. This supreme location is in the middle of Enniskillen and is a key location on the Blueways Canoe Trail which goes from Belleek to Limerick on the Erne Shannon Link. After being closed for many years we have taken on this exciting new challenge to open Castle Island for all to come and enjoy.

Location 2
Water Activity Zone Regal Pass,
Enniskillen, BT74 7BL

Enniskillen Blueways Water Activity Zone or Hub is Blue Green Yonder’s original home and is our base for all hires and rentals.

You can hire our kayaks, canoes and Stand up Paddleboards for a range of times.

When you arrive, be greeted by one of our friendly instructors. Get kitted out with a wetsuit if required and safety equipment. Before going through our induction to get out on the water. A map will be provided.
